Student Testimonials

Jonah Steck - Desert Ridge High School

How has CTE positively impacted your high school experience?

"CTE has offered a break from regular courses to focus on a specific interest of mine and learn the skills to pursue those interests. Because it's more specialized, we had access to more unique resources and these particular courses helped me learn about the reality of becoming an engineer."

What are some skills that you’ve gained from Engineering?

"These courses have offered a lot of skills, such as engineering notebook notation, inventor auto CAD, computer programming basics, and the engineering process of developing a solution to a real-world problem. We also had some work with digital electronics and robotics."
