Access to Your Student Accounts
Here are some helpful links and information about the accounts that you will be expected to know and use regularly as a student:
- Student Google Account (via Rapid Identity Login) - You will use a Google/Rapid Identity account to login to any computer you use in high school.
- Infinite Campus - Infinite Campus is where you can check your grades, see assignment calendars and check your credit progress.
- Google Classroom - Google Classroom is the online tool used by Gilbert Public Schools to simplify teaching and learning by connecting all the digital tools teachers use in one easy place. Most of your classes will have a Google Classroom for assignments and activities. Teachers will provide you with a code to sign up for their class at the beginning of the year. Tip: Find all your Google Classrooms at https://www.classroom.google.com.

If you are inseparable with your phone, check out MyHomework - a student planner app that works with all platforms.
Khan Academy – Videos and practice activities from top educators covering almost every core subject step-by-step including AP courses and SAT test prep.
Quizlet – Digital note cards and games created by students and teachers from around the world. Quiz yourself at any time on your phone with the app. Studying is now easier than ever before. Try looking for note cards by vocabulary terms, subject, or even a specific textbook and chapter!

Be Prepared – Free PSAT questions and test practice to help you prepare yourself for test day.
After you take the PSAT/NMSQT, you can get a free, tailored practice program for the SAT—based on your personal test results—through Khan Academy®.
You also get free access to the Roadmap to Careers online tool from Roadtrip Nation to explore majors and careers that reflect your interests.

It is always a good time to get involved on your high school campus. There are clubs for everyone ranging from coloring clubs, K-pop, volunteer/service, mentoring, equality and many more. Also, all CTE programs have student organizations, as do all of the performing/visual arts and sports teams.

Free/Reduced Lunch Application – for More than Just School Lunches!
Did you know that if you qualify for assistance through the National School Lunch Program (NLSP), you may be eligible to receive fee waivers for the SAT/ACT exams, some College Applications and fee reductions for AP Exams?
Free and reduced-price meals are available to families who qualify. If your family chooses to apply, please fill out a Free & Reduced Meal Application.
From the College Board:
"The College Board fee-waiver service assists qualified, economically disadvantaged students who plan to take the SAT/SAT Subject Tests/PSAT/NMSQT/AP Exams. A student must be either enrolled in, or eligible to participate in, the National School Lunch Program (NLSP) in order to receive a fee waiver. Schools participating in new federal programs such as Community Eligibility may not be able to use the NLSP criterion to identify and verify individual student fee-waiver eligibility. However, several other criteria or indicators can still be used to confirm eligibility for fee-waiver benefits."
